The Story Behind the Songs

A Narrative to Accompany the Album

Prologue: Born on Planet Love

From my earliest memories, I lived with a sense of warmth around me — an emotional atmosphere shaped by love, empathy, and a quiet certainty that people were good. Even as I was raised inside a belief system that taught non-Christians, queer people, and even doubters like myself would suffer unimaginable torment unless we repented and obeyed, something inside me resisted.

Deep down, I didn’t feel as though people were evil. I felt they deserved to be who they were.

It often seemed as though I wasn’t truly from this harsh world of judgment and fear at all. Instead, I felt aligned with a place where acceptance is the natural climate, where diversity is celebrated, and where love is the baseline.

In other words, I was born — at least in spirit — on Planet Love.

Act I — The Early Seasons

Beautiful Day (My Chosen Family)

As I grew older, I learned something beautiful: family is not automatically determined by blood. If we all share the same ancient lineage — through evolution, through stardust — then we are all family. And real family is chosen.

I found people whose hearts echoed my own: people who loved without judgment, who embraced my strengths and quirks, and let me celebrate theirs. With them, every day felt like a beautiful day — my chosen family blossoming like spring after a long winter.

But even within this newfound warmth, deeper winds were beginning to stir.

Hangin’ Around

Chosen family naturally became the people I loved spending time with — friends, partners, joyful companions on the journey. The simple delight of “hangin’ around” together was a confirmation of something I’d always felt: connection is one of the purest forms of love.

Yet, even amid laughter and ease, there was a breeze rising inside me — a quiet wind of questions.

Act II — Winds of Awakening

Wind of Change

Years before I consciously deconverted, my mind was already shifting. The more I learned — through empathy, science, observation — the more I felt old beliefs loosening their hold.

A wind of change swept through me, formed not from rebellion but from honesty. I was learning to trust evidence over fear.

And as the wind grew stronger, something long-held began to break open.

Once I Believed

That inner clarity, rooted in love and compassion, finally led me to acknowledge what had been whispering for years: I no longer believed what I had been taught. Not the myths. Not the doctrines. Not the claims that divided humanity into saved and damned.

Letting go brought not corruption but freedom — freedom to doubt, to explore, to love without condition. It felt like stepping from a dim room into the open air for the first time.

But that freedom didn’t come without resistance — from others, and from the lingering echoes of the past.

Come Back Home

When I began speaking openly about my deconstruction, the messages poured in:
“Please come back home.”
“This is just a phase.”
“You’re under an attack from the devil.”

They spoke out of fear and indoctrination, but what they asked of me was a return to a house built on sand — one I could no longer pretend was solid. I loved truth too much to return to what was unproven, harmful, or rooted in shame.

And walking away from that fear made space for something new: a voice that wanted to rise.

I’ll Tell the Whole World

When you step into a world filled with love, honesty, and acceptance — a world far wider and kinder than the tiny box you were raised in — you want to share it. You want others to know they don’t have to live in shame. That joy isn’t sinful. That love isn’t forbidden.

So I told the truth. I shared my journey. I spoke of the freedom that comes from releasing the chains of fear.

And speaking that truth lit a path toward intentional growth.

Better and Better

Instead of waiting for a supernatural being to “change my heart,” I discovered something far more empowering: the ability to study my own mind.

I learned from psychology, biology, and introspection. I embraced my authentic self. I leaned into compassion and empathy — not as commandments, but as natural expressions of who I truly was.

Day by day, I grew.
Day by day, in every way, I became better — not holier, not more obedient — but more whole.

But even in wholeness, storms come. They always do.

Act III — Storms and Sunlight

Rain Come Down

Freedom doesn’t end suffering. The clouds still gather. The storms still rage. Some days feel hopeless, heavy, or dark.

But pain is not the enemy. The rain cleans. The storms shape. The darker seasons carve depth into the soul that sunny days never could.

This song is a reminder not to fight the storm, but to face it — to lift your face to the sky and let the rain wash away the debris of old wounds.

And in those storms, something else becomes visible: the people who stand with you.

You Are Not Alone

Loneliness may whisper to you, but the truth is deeper: somewhere out there, a chosen family waits. People who don’t want to convert you, fix you, or judge you. People who will sit with you in the rain and walk with you into the sunrise.

You are not alone — and you never were.

And when love returns, it brings with it the clearest vision of all: empathy.

Tomorrow Morning

What if you woke tomorrow morning and discovered you were the person you once judged?
The neighbor you misunderstood.
The stranger you condemned.
The identity you feared.

Empathy begins when we recognize the fragility of our own perspective.

And from that recognition, compassion blooms into understanding.

Two Worlds, One Soul

Here, empathy steps into the real world through the story of a transgender girl whose life is split between acceptance and rejection. Her story shows the stark contrast between two worlds: the world of shame and the world of unconditional love.

If we want to heal ourselves, we must strive to create the second world — for her, and for everyone.

And that is where the entire journey leads: to unity.

Our Symphony

The album closes with a declaration: each of us is a vital, irreplaceable instrument, a one-of-a-kind voice, in the shared symphony of life. Your voice matters. Your identity matters. Your existence adds color, harmony, and fullness to the music of humanity.

Without you, the song would be incomplete.
With you, it becomes whole.

Epilogue: Returning to Planet Love

In the end, I realized something: Planet Love wasn’t a distant dream or a metaphor for a place I left behind.

It was my inner world all along — my original atmosphere.

This album is the story of finding my way back to it, and of inviting others to breathe its air.

On Planet Love, you are seen.
On Planet Love, you are safe.
On Planet Love, you are celebrated.

And now, through these songs, I offer that planet to you. Let’s build it together — right here on Earth.
